Zsazsa Zaturnnah
Zsazsa Zaturnnah vs. the Amazonistas of Planet X (2025), brings the cult-favorite graphic novel to the screen in exuberant 2D animation. The story follows Ada, a shy small-town beautician who, after a magical meteorite encounter, transforms into the fabulously powerful superhero Zsazsa Zaturnnah. Between battling alien Amazonistas and navigating matters of the heart, Zsazsa delivers a bold, campy, and heartfelt adventure with franchise-worthy flair.
The animated film was directed by Avid Liongoren, a Filipino filmmaker and animator known for his playful, genre-bending approach to storytelling. A veteran of the Philippine advertising industry, he has directed countless commercials and music videos—often infused with his signature hand-drawn flair. He also leads Rocketsheep, his indie studio of illustrators, animators, and “friendsheep,” where imagination always comes first.
