Vasjen Katro, widely known as Baugasm, is an Albanian visual designer and creative director whose path into design began with his first love: electronic music. At a young age, he was already experimenting with visuals, and when he signed with a music label years later, he insisted on creating his own EP artwork. That moment sparked a creative shift that led him fully into the world of design.
Best known for his iconic “a-poster-a-day” project, Vasjen challenged himself to create and publish a new poster every day for an entire year. A challenge he enjoyed so much, he kept it going for two. His commitment bordered on extraordinary, even while recovering from two broken ribs in the hospital, he still asked for his laptop to keep the streak going.
Baugasm’s work is driven by curiosity, persistence, and the belief that art is the truest way he can express himself. What began as designing music covers has grown into a bold visual universe that now inspires millions.
Today, Baugasm stands as one of the most recognizable creative projects on the internet, celebrated for its color, energy, and relentless dedication to the craft.
