Puppeteer Animation Studios, Inc. is a world-class 3D animation studio based in the Philippines, known for delivering full-production animation for film, AAA games, television, and commercials. Founded in 2013, the studio has earned global recognition, collaborating with major partners such as Netflix, LEGO, and Warner Bros.
With a team skilled in concept art, storyboarding, modeling, rigging, animation, VFX, rendering, and compositing, Puppeteer brings stories to life with both technical expertise and creative flair.
The studio is also building its own original IP, including Anito, a project inspired by Filipino mythical creatures, and continues to produce award-winning short films like Geo, celebrated in local festivals. Their work has been featured at industry events including the GameDev Summit, showcasing Puppeteer’s growing influence in the global animation landscape.
Presenting for Puppeteer Animation Studios is Arthur Mercader, the studio’s Creative Director and CEO. What began as a small freelance group he started with college friends has grown into a 60-person team creating world-class animation for films, AAA games, and global brands. An award-winning artist himself, Arni brings bold vision to every project, championing Filipino creativity on the global stage.
